(More customer reviews)Our vet prescribed this for our new kitten, who, although he was active and seemed healthy, had to deal with a bad case of the runs for several days. The doctor actually recommended that the contents of the capsules be sprinkled over food (especially for a small kitten). The paste syringe comes with a dosage regulating device on the plunger, which makes it easy and accurate to use. The first time giving it to the cat was tricky, but by the second time, I was able to administer a precise dosage very quickly and easily. Putting the medication on the food was no problem (obviously), and it did not affect our cat's appetite or put him off his food. Best of all, kitty's diarrhea stopped in about two days. That's worth five stars in my book.
