(More customer reviews)I have three large dogs and have tried several brands of dog shampoo over their lives (the oldest dog is 13, so I have a lot of experience with it). I always come back to Fresh 'n' Clean, because it has about the longest-lasting freshness and it is one of the most gentle. Owners of black-coat dogs with dandruff or dry skin issues will especially appreciate that it doesn't contribute to the problem, and especially when used in conjunction with the Fresh 'n' Clean conditioner. As with most shampoos, it is not safe to use around the eyes, but I keep baby shampoo on hand for that part of the job. You will appreciate that it leaves your dog with a beautiful, smooth coat and a very fresh scent that lasts for a few days, not just a few minutes. It's also quite inexpensive for dog shampoo when purchased as concentrate in the one-gallon size.
