(More customer reviews)I have a boxer with food and environmental allergies and this grain-free formula in combination with daily antihistamines, an omega-3 supplement and a weekly medicated (antibacterial/anti-fungal) bath really seems to be helping her. She has more energy and doesn't scratch or smell nearly as much. She used to scratch and bite herself until she bled and was left with open, festering sores for days. It was so hard to watch her suffer like that, where you're afraid to pet her because you know there isn't anywhere on her body that doesn't hurt like crazy. She does still flare up occasionally but I really must stress that it wasn't until after using this food that she wasn't living in a constant "flared up" state. On top of that, I've heard that grain free diets are much healthier for dogs, though I honestly don't know why. I always purchase the biggest bag from a small local pet store - I think it's 24 or 25 pounds or so? - but I would be much more inclined to purchase it online if the shipping were free.
