(More customer reviews)I have a severely allergic dog that has been struggling for four years before I came across this dog food. She suffers from food allergies the manifest in her digestive tract. It has been the only food that she likes to eat and that doesn't kick up her allergies. My dog (she's a wire fox terrier) has never been food motivated until now. I imagine it's because she used to feel sick every time she ate and so hated to do it. However, with this dog food she is actually willing to eat without being hand fed. This dog food is a grain-free dog food where you add your own ground meat to the mix after cooking (but never boiling so as to preserve the beneficial bacteria from the meat) over a low heat. It makes good bulky stools (good for anal glands) that don't smell, and my dog loves the flavor. My dog prefers ground chicken mixed in with it, but you can use all sorts of ground meats. There are youtube videos about it (but it's pretty straightforward and simple) to help you mix it up and it says that this dog food can actually be used for chemotherapy dogs. Give this dog food a try, it is well worth the price and the effort! I make the small portion and I feed my dog twice a day with 1/2 cup and it lasts me all week. FINALLY.
