(More customer reviews)This Puppy Food is one of the best you can purchase OTC for your pets. My puppies thrived on this and I usually am a Puppy-Chow person. However, due to economic times, and my having tons of coupons for his product I stocked up on it with over 40 bags BEFORE my pups were born. I fed it to the mother, and then started the babies on it. They seemed to thrive more than the last litter who were given the puppy chow. They grew quicker, more muscular, had more energy, and even the mother seemed to spring back from labor & delivery much quicker.
Then my cats smelled it and I have to keep it hid now or the cats will gobble it all up. They prefer it to the cat food.
As for the negative comment about it's ingredients, just consider how dogs naturally thrive in the wild. They eat dead carcasses all the time and you don't hear of wild dogs, wolves, or coyotes falling over dead or getting health problems from their diet. It's a natural process and at least we can give out pets the nutrion they need in a bag without all the mess.
